An open book, dark dragons, and golden sparkles bring a little fantasy to your everyday reading wardrobe. This embroidered T-shirt pairs a relaxed fit with garment-dyed, 100% ring-spun cotton.
An open book lies at the center chest, its light gray pages fanned out and curling upward. Four dark dragon silhouettes rise from it, wings spread as if they have just escaped the story, and small golden yellow sparkles float around them. There is no lettering, only the scene. Read from the bottom up, it looks as if the story itself is taking flight.
When the Story Gets Out of the Book
Every fantasy reader knows a book that feels bigger on the inside. This design turns that idea into a picture, with dragons flying off the page instead of staying put in chapter twelve. It fits the current wave of romantasy and dragon-rider stories as well as older epic fantasy, without naming any one series. Solid silhouettes keep the shapes bold and easy to read in thread, even with four dragons in the air.
For Fantasy Readers and Faire Days
Picture the friend with a shelf of sprayed-edge hardcovers, the reader who sketches maps of imaginary kingdoms, or anyone heading to a fantasy book club or a Renaissance faire. That is who this bookish shirt is for, and it makes a thoughtful birthday gift for someone whose favorite series you have heard about at length. Ice Blue and Flo Blue give the dark dragons the most contrast, while True Navy makes the gold sparkles glow.
Embroidered on a Comfort Colors 1717 T-Shirt
Heavyweight 100% ring-spun cotton, garment-dyed for a soft, lived-in feel, in a relaxed unisex fit. Read more about the tee and how each design is stitched on our How It’s Made page.
Colors and sizes
